How did you start the first time in the import export business?

I have a short working experience in L/C Department of an American bank, and a long experience in shipping.

When I saw that many local suppliers and makers did not have the means to obtain knowledge on international sale, it was natural for me to move on to start export of goods for these local suppliers and also offer advice on shipping arrangements.





It is essential to know the full meanings of shipping terms and payment terms as these are interlinked, and affects the timing of payment, and also up to which point the supplier has the right to his cargo.

About Your Business:

Onward International Co., Ltd., was established in 1995 as a ship agency. It expanded into operation of vessels and ship management before moving on to ship chartering, brokering and other areas of shipping.

We are now engaged in promoting sale of agricultural products from Myanmar and mineral products from Thailand, along with shipments of these commodities.
