How did you start the first time in the import export business?

I was already in business of manufacturing for the domestic markets.

I started export business, when on a trip to East Africa.

I saw that quality of Indian goods were now being accepted there especially since the European prices were too high.

Given the level of sophistication demanded by the potential developing countries, India was well capable of meeting the quality demands at competitive costs.

And that's how I started exports.
