How did you start the first time in the import export business?

I stepped into import export business in November of 2009. I was planned to be an English teacher but due to some reasons I became a sales person.

Right now I am still a green hand in this field. I met my first customer at the second month of my trial period. He is form Sri Lanka. I think what is badly needed is patience for me as it often takes a long time to deal with our customers.

Hope I will become more experienced in the near future.
