How did you start the first time in the import export business?
My first time in the export business was in a small company which sells medical instrument. It was a newly founded company and my my boss did not know how to export his products. I considered myself lucky to find a job because as you may know, China has more than 6 million students graduating from the university every year! So I treasured that job very much.
We did not have many methods to promote our products so we relied on a B2B Trade Board. Because our products were very good and have the competitive advantage our sales quantity were ok.
After half a year, we found an Indian customer who became our sole agent in the Indian market. In that company, I did not earn any commission and I worked with them for 3 years and in charge of nearly everything and through it I learned skills of exporting. Then I left the company and got a new job. Now I am the sales manager which is in charge of the whole export department!
